Heavy
The blackness crawls upon my chest.
She laughs. She screams. She apologizes.
She always apologizes.
Eyes like midnight
stare out from beneath her blanket of black hair.
I think I see a drop of sorrow there.
Heavy
The darkness claws at my heart.
She sings. She pleads. She does not apologize.
Always. Always.Forever. Always…
She spits the words at my crotch.
Eyes like graveyards
listlessly searching for something concrete to hold.
I think she smells the heat of my fear.
Heavy
her soul
my carcass
the silence when it’s over.
Wow, I feel like listening to A#F#infinity by God Speed You Black Emporer now. If you aren’t familiar with this project, I suggest you look it up. Judging by the darkness in this work, I think you might appreciate it. I love it BTW, I felt disturbed, yet compelled to read on.
I have that effect on people 😀 Thank you so much for reading. I shall check out your recommendation asap. The darkness doesn’t function to bring people down, it’s an important element for anyone wishing to understand the balance of dark/light good/bad so they can hey ‘reprogram’ 🙂 Look forward to reading more of your stuff!
Thank you for a very informative site. Where else could I get that kind of information written in such an ideal method?
